Byron.

After hearing so much about Byron Burgers, I knew that at one point I had to visit the famous restaurant so when visiting the Zoo least week, Masite and I discovered one quite close by in Camden. The atmosphere was fantastic as was the serving staff. Not so long ago, I watched one of Patricia Bright's vlogs were she mentioned how great the mac and cheese was so I knew I had to order it as well as fries on the side. For my burger, I ordered a well done cheese burger without red onions.

I have to say that Byron Burgers definitely lived up to my expectations. The value for food is amazing as was the food itself. The fries were soooo good that I had to stop myself from ordering a second bowl. The mac and cheese was also delicious. The one down side was that the burger wasn't really anything special but I am still on the hunt for the best burger in London.

Meeting Zoe Sugg.

This is one of the best opportunities I have ever had. One my friends won a chance to go and see Zoe during a secret meet and greet and she decided to bring me along. I have been watching and reading  Zoella for over two years and she has had a large impact on me.  She is such a hardworking, positive and funny lady that watching her videos are infectious. Zoe is one of the main reasons I started blogging so getting a chance to meet her in the flesh is something I will forever be grateful for.
The event was held at Battersea Park and there were only about one hundred or so of us. All of the staff at Youtube were incredibly friendly and made us all feel welcome. Even whilst we were queuing outside in the cold they kept our energy up by making do a massive Mexican wave and yelling 'Zoella' as loud as we could so that she would hear us. They even gave us little boxes of popcorn! Once inside, we all also received a super cute tote/shopper bag that included a penguin chocolate bar, water bottle and little Zoella badges. We also got a card that was signed by Zoe. Queuing up was totally worth it as my time came to get my picture taken and meet Zoe! I gave Zoe a hug and she told me that she loved my coat and I told her it was so lovely to meet her and that I loved her videos. It was an experience that I will never forget and I hope I get to meet her again so that we can have a longer chat.

Camden Market.

On Saturday, Masite and I decided to celebrate her birthday with a trip to the Zoo! I had one of the best days in a long time and loved every minute of it. I'll be writing a separate post on our actual day at the Zoo later this week. London Zoo is literally a stone's throw from Camden and since we had never been there before, we thought we would check out the area and famous market. Camden was way busier than I had anticipated; even though it was nearly 5pm the place was still absolutely packed. The atmosphere was amazing and we spent a good deal looking at the super cool clothes in the stalls.

My eyes were instantly drawn to the beautiful red checkered scarf as I've been looking to buy one for winter but I was a bit hesitant as I felt I might be able to find a better one else where. Another thing I was tempted to buy was an Arctic Monkey's hoodie. Looking back, I really wish I bought it because where else am I going to find one? Sigh. I also really liked the print on the cropped jumpers. Whilst we were walking to go and eat we saw this super cool street dancer and DJ Grandpa, they were so awesome and gathered a large crowd of excited passerby's. I loved the short time I spent in Camden and I can't wait till I get to visit again and have a proper look around.

I'm back | Thankful Thursday

Source
September was a difficult month to get through. So much in my life was changing so rapidly and my brain didn't know how to process all the change so it shut down ( not literally haha). I tried my best to drag myself through last month and i'm glad to say I survived! I'd also like to apologise for being so absent from my little space on the internet; hopefully, I'll be blogging at lot more frequently.

Todays post is inspired by one of my favourite bloggers Lisette Loves. Every Thursday, she writes a post about her week and everything she's thankful for. Reading her posts makes me take a step back and think about recent events in a different light; instead of seeing the worst of situations, I've started to find the best and be thankful for them. This week, I'm thankful for:

Finding the above picture (I love it so much)

Having a chance to watch Scottsboro boys at the Garrick (outstanding performance!)

Also getting to watch a performance of Dirty Butterfly at the Young Vic

The super kind guy who gave me his train ticket at the station

Being offered a trial shift at TGI Friday's

I'm thankful to my mum for buying me a Chinese takeout on Sunday

Scoring way more than I expected in my first Psychology exam

Buying tickets to go the Zoo on Saturday (my level of excitement is palpable, seriously)

And another little secret that I can't tell just yet! (Its actually killing me)
